A library of governed AI personas
Each one a version-controlled, evaluation-tested representation of how a particular role or step should behave.
Services · 02 - Vertical Workbenches
Vertical Workbenches start from a library of governed personas, domain-knowledge packs and structured output contracts, each built for a specific regulated workflow and then tailored to you.
The domain thinking is done before your project starts.
What a workbench is
A workbench is a complete, branded AI-enabled application for a specific operational workflow, built on the same foundation as every Katemba engagement.
Each one a version-controlled, evaluation-tested representation of how a particular role or step should behave.
Curated, version-controlled source material that grounds the personas in real regulatory and operational context.
Every AI output validates against a defined schema, so downstream systems aren’t catching free text and hoping for the best.
Self-hostable, multi-tenant capable, isolated at the database, audit-logged, and the source code is yours.
The result is the application that other vendors would either sell you as inflexible SaaS or refuse to build because it needs too much domain context.

Why a workbench is faster
For each named workbench, Katemba maintains a curated, version-controlled knowledge pack for that domain, grounding the AI in regulatory, operational and contextual reality. You don’t start by collating documents.
Each workbench ships with a persona library, every entry already through the evaluation gate. You’re not designing the right prompt; you’re tuning the persona library to your house style and constraints.
We’ve already worked out what structured outputs the workbench should produce, what fields are required, what validations apply, and how they integrate with surrounding systems. You configure; you don’t specify from scratch.
The result is a productised engagement measured in weeks, with all the same governance, isolation and auditability as a full Governed AI Delivery engagement.
What’s coming
The named launch set is the start. We add workbenches as engagement experience justifies them, workflows where we have enough real depth that a productised offering can stand up to professional scrutiny.
How we engage
Engagement shape
If it’s one of the named offerings, we can scope a Workbench Sprint this week. If it’s adjacent, tell us. We may have the depth already.
